Cannot Submit Leave Request

There are several reasons why an employee might be unable to submit a leave request, such as:

  1. Leave Type Not Assigned:

    The specific leave type has not yet been added to the employee's profile.

  2. Insufficient Balance:

    The employee’s remaining leave balance is less than the amount requested.

  3. Below Minimum Hours:

    The requested duration is lower than the minimum hours allowed in the Leave Permissions settings.

  4. Eligibility Period Not Reached:

    The employee has not yet reached the required tenure to submit a request (Request Leave After).

    For example, they may still be under a probation period.

  5. Submission Deadlines (Cut-off):

    The request was submitted outside of the allowed timeframe (Leave Submit Cut Off).

    For example, the policy may require requests to be submitted at least 3 days in advance.


Admin Action: If an employee reports that they cannot submit a leave request, please review the settings mentioned above to ensure compliance with company policy.
