Public Holidays Treated as Normal Working Days

Question:

What does "Set Public Holiday as Work Days" in the Calendar settings mean, and what effect does it have on the number of working days?

Answer:

Setting public holidays as work days in the Calendar means that employees must work on those holidays to receive wages. If an employee does not work on a public holiday, it will be considered an absence.

However, the Overtime rate used for calculations will still be the rate set for Public Holidays.
