Total Worked & Total Absent in Timesheet

For employees with Daily Payment Type, the total number of days worked (Total Worked) and days absent (Total Absent) will be counted in the timesheet differently than for employees with Monthly Payment Type as follows:


Monthly Payment Type

  1. Total Days Worked: Total Days Worked from the Employment Contract - Total Absent Days 
  2. Total Absence Days:  Absent Days + Unpaid Leave + Forget Scan Days.
  3. Example 1
    • Payment Type: Monthly
    • Work Days/Month: 30 days
    • Work Hours/Day: 8 Hours

      April 2021

    • Weekly Holidays (Date) : 3,4,10,11,17,18,24,25
    • Public Holidays (Dates) : 6, 13, 14, 15
    • Paid Leave (vacation) : 12/04/2021
    • Unpaid Leave: 16/04/2021
    • Total Days Worked: 29 days
    • Total Absence Days: 1 day.
  4. Example 2
    • Payment Type: Monthly
    • Work Days/Month: 30 days
    • Work Hours/Day = 8 hours

      April 2021

    • Weekly Holidays (Date) = 3,4,10,11,17,18,24,25
    • Public Holidays = 6, 13, 14, 15,
    • Paid Leave (vacation) = 12/04/2021

Daily Payment Type

  1. If the settings allow for Paid Public Holidays and Unpaid Days Off,
    1. Total Days Worked: Number of days worked with sign-in and sign-out + Public holidays + Paid Leave days.
    2. Total Absence = Absent days + Unpaid Leave days + Invalid Data.

      • Payment Type: Daily
      • Public Holidays: Paid
      • Weekly Day Off: Unpaid
      • Work Days/Month:  30 days
      • Work Hours/Day:  8 hours

    • Payment type:  Monthly

    • March 1-20, 2021: Unpaid leave of 0.5 days

      Note: Employees do not have weekly days off or public holidays.

    • The timesheet for the period 21/02/2021 - 20/03/2021 will be displayed.
    • Total Days Worked: 7 + 21.5 = 28.5
    • Total Absence Days: 1 + 0.5 = 1.5
  2. Example 2
    • First Employment Contract End Date:  28/02/2021
    • Payment type:   Daily
    • Work Days/Month:  30 days
    • February 21-28, 2021:  Absent: 1 day


    • Second Employment Contract Start Date:  01/03/2021
    • Payment type: Monthly
    • Work Days/Month:  30
    • March 1-20, 2021: Absent:1 day.

      Note: Employees do not have weekly days off or public holidays.

    • The timesheet for the period 21/02/2021 - 20/03/2021 will be displayed.
    • Total Days Worked: 7 + 21 = 28
    • Total Absence Days: 1 + 1 = 2
  3. Example 3
    • First Employment Contract End Date: 31/03/2021
    • Payment type:  Daily
    • Work Days/Month: 30 days
    • March 21-31, 2021 = Absent: 1 day.


    • Second Employment Contract Start Date: 01/04/2021)
    • Payment type:  Monthly
    • Number of working days/month: 30
    • April 1-20, 2021: 2 days absent, 0.5 day of unpaid leave.

      Note: Employees do not have weekly days off or public holidays.

    • The timesheet for March 21, 2021 - April 20, 2021 will be displayed.
    • Total Days Worked: 10 + 16.5 = 24.5 
    • Total Absence Days: 1 + 2.5 = 3.5

Cross Payment Type Monthly to Daily

  1. Example 1
    • First Employment Contract End Date: 31/03/2021
    • Payment type = Monthly
    • Work Days/Month = 30 days
    • March 21-31, 2021 = Absent: 1 day


    • Second Employment Contract Start Date: 01/04/2021
    • Payment type: Daily
    • Work Days/Month:  30
    • April 1-20, 2021: 2 days absent, 0.5 day unpaid leave.

      Note: Employees do not have weekly days off or public holidays.

    • The timesheet for March 21, 2021 - April 20, 2021 will be displayed.
    • Total Days Worked: 10 + 17.5 = 27.5
    • Total Absence Days: 1 + 2.5 = 3.5
  2. Example 2
    • First Employment Contract End Date: 31/03/2021
    • Payment type:  Monthly
    • Work Days/Month:  30 days
    • March 21-31, 2021:  Absent: 1 day.


    • Second Employment Contract Start Date:  01/04/2021
    • Payment type:  Daily
    • Work Days/Month:  30
    • April 1-20, 2021:  Unpaid leave = 0.5 days

    • Total Days Worked: 10 + 18.5 = 28.5
    • Total Absence Days: 1 + 0.5 = 1.5
