Deduction Rule Report
💬 Note
If a deduction rule is set in the Preferences page, when data is retrieved from a timesheet to calculate payroll, the system will not only calculate the base salary and overtime, but also compute Allowance and various Deductions, and display the payroll details.
⚠️ Caution
The deduction rules report can only be viewed for the pay period in which the salary has already been processed.
How to view the Deduction Rule report.
- Navigate to the Reports tab.
- Select Standard Reports.
- Go to Time Attendance Reports.

Select Deduction Rule.

- Select the Company, Branch, Deduction Name, Employee and Pay Period.

Click Load.

An explanation of the columns in the Deduction Rule Report

Late Minutes (Timesheet)
The number of minutes late (according to the Timesheet) is calculated by subtracting the shift start time from the time of signing in.

Out Early Minutes (Timesheet)
The number of minutes to out early (according to the Timesheet) is calculated by subtracting the time the shift ends from the time the employee signs out.

Total Late / Out Early Minutes
The number of late minutes and out early minutes according to the conditions set in the Deduction rules.

Late Times
The number of times employee is late or out early, according to the conditions set in the deduction rules.

Late Times (Timesheet)
The number of times employee is late or out early according to the Timesheet.

Absent Days
Absent days according to the conditions set in the Deduction Rules.

Absent Days (Timesheet)
Number of days absent from work (according to the Timesheet)

Leave Days
Leave days as defined in the Allowance Rules and Deduction Rules.

Leave Days (Timesheet)
Number of leave days (according to the Timesheet)

Column titled "Deductions"
The amount deducted is calculated based on the system settings.
