Questions About the Employee Dashboard

Question: Why is the combined percentage of female and male employees not equal to 100%?

Answer: The percentage of the population by gender is calculated as follows:

  • Percentage of Female population = (Number of female employees / Total number of employees) x 100
  • Percentage of Male population = (Number of male employees / Total number of employees) x 100

Therefore, any employee who does not specify their gender cannot be included in the calculation of the percentage of the female or male population.
